Debating on whether or not to start this thing up again.

Every day, I become more disillusioned to American society.

I think I just want to live in a hut and have a little garden patch and a few chickens running around. I want to live in the dirt and bathe in the river.

But I live in America. We're more civilized than that.

I'm constantly hearing people say how they hope things work out in Irag and that we can install a successful democratic government there. I've even heard pastors pray for democracy in Iraq.

But, what I ask is this: Is democracy really the best form of government for every society? I'm not so sure, myself.

Not to mention, nowhere in the Bible do I hear God proclaim to his people that they should have democratic governments, because it is the true and right form of government. I mean, seriously people, we're talking about political systems not salvation issues. Does there have to be just one right way?

Random Thoughts Swirling in My Head

I am a walking contradiction.

I feel utterly alone.

I'm not sure how much more of this I can take.

Release, sweet release, where are you?

I have big dreams, but lack motivation.

I want so much more than this.

I don't think what I want and what I actually have will ever match up.

Will I ever get out of this rut?

Will I ever be able to save myself?

Can you see how confused I am?

Why can't I be who I want to be?

I feel like such a failure.

I feel so useless, so unneeded.

I need a change, but I don't know what to do.

I'm so stuck.

The 5 finalists for the Miss America pageant: Miss Texas, Miss Alabama, Miss Georgia, Miss Oklahoma, and Miss Mississippi.

I'd like the record to show that EVERY ONE of these finalists are from Southern states that have a reputation for hicks and rednecks. States that are looked down upon by snooty northerners as being backwards.

And yet, not ONE yankee contestant made it to the finals.

We grow 'em better in the South.

"Southern girls are God's gift to the entire male population. There is absolutely no woman finer than one raised below the Mason-Dixon line and once you go southern may the good Lord help you, you never go back." -Kenny Chesney
